The Library

The Library

The National Gallery of Arts has a public, free of charge, no subscription required, reference only, art library. The library is open Monday to Thursday, 08:00 am until 16:30 pm and Friday 08:00 am until 14:00 pm. The library of the National Gallery was built in 1999 as an additional opportunity and venue for the artistic and cultural information of the public, art pupils, students, researchers and so on. It was established with the help of many international institutions and organizations and holds over 4200 titles of books, magazines, catalogues and videotapes about the history and theory of art.
